I haven't tried it myself, but have friends who have visited and given it high marks. 3 brothers (originally from Ganado) and spouses have founded the place on some family land. Good folks.

I’m currently drinking the Zacapa 23. I’m far from a rum snob, but I think it’s pretty good. After reading this, I’m going to try to find a few of the others mentioned here.

Zacapa 23 and Mount Gay Extra Old are my go-tos.

A good easy one to start with is Ron Zacapa 23 Solera.

I like some of the El Dorado rums. Ron Botran is good. I'm working on a bottle of Cuban Havana Club now and it's very good but hard to get. Diplomatico is good. Some of the older Flor de Canas are good. You might try a rhum agricole for a little different take on rum too. Lots of good options and lots of different flavor profiles and styles to try. I've broken lots of folks into good rum with Ron Zacapa though. Just about everyone likes it.

This. Zacapa 23 & Diplomatico are in our bar right now...they're our "go to"s for rum either for sipping or to make mojitos

I’m not we’ll versed but I’m almost finished with a bottle of Havana Club a friend brought me, it’s good. I like Frigate Reserve right now but mostly because my hero Flip Pallot pushes it and I tend to catch fish under frigates often.
