How bout another "Where/What" to do around Corpus, thread?

Walmart bout sold out!
Bought 2 spinning reels w 12# test. Heaviest weights were 1/2 oz.

Didn't catch squat!

Met TBHer Jason Slocum tonight. Fished w him awhile. He had 2 fish on but lost em.

And thank goodness that pirate ship sold booze!

Fish!

Finally went old school on the salty fish. Rigged up like I used to do for Sandies on Texoma. 2 oz weight on bottom, two 2/0 hooks on leaders 1', then another 18" above that.
Ethan started catching these 2 at a time! We both caught several ! Used "fishbites" for bait.

Action Packed.

Kids had a ball, overall.
They both Loved the beach!





Ethan found 3 whole Sand Dollars and a MANOWAR Jellyfish!!!!



And the Pirate Boat.



Ethan was more in to the Lexington ( as was I).





Where Bella (especially) AND Ethan both Loved the Texas State Aquarium!





Great trip! Ended up staying an extra night (had to change motels tonight due to booked up rooms) and are in Goliad now, headed home tomorrow!

Thanks for all the help/advice.
Now that all the sight seeing is done, next year will be a FISHING TRIP !
