Like someone above said, I took it for relief from shingles. Couldnt get any sort of sleep without it. Didnt completely take it away but enough to take edge off to sleep. Funny, my dog takes it too, but only 100s. My dad actually takes a 400 three times a day. Bad feet. But to answer the question, no side effects for me.

Wife has been taking it for 11 years to help with nerve issues/pain. She's had back surgery 3x and had hydrocodone initially to help with the pain. She's quickly off that, but continues with Gabapentin. Not sure it does much as she still has to take Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen to help with pain.
