I had the previous iteration on my Chevy 2500HD Duramax 4WD. I believe they were LTX AT/3s??? I liked the performance and semi aggressive tread, but they didn't last that long on my truck. I wasn't the best about rotating them, but I thought I'd get a bit more than 40,000mi out of them. Just my experience.

Wife had that set or ones before it on her 2500 and Cooper warrantied them out as they lasted about 35k miles. She drives like a granny and shes got about a 20 mile drive to work average speed about 55. So i wasnt impressed. All ive used is cooper tires and really like the STT Max. But i wasnt impressed with the AT3 at all.
I think i may give the TOYO at3 or RT a try this time on my 3500 SRW. STT max have been great but i only get about 35-40k at best out of them.

The XLT are e rated so should hold up to more weight. I have ran the AT/3 on my taco & 3/4 ton hemi & had no issues. Ride good. Some whine ,but not bad. Another tire to look at in that group is Toyo A/T III. I am running these on my tundra. Went with them on this truck, because they were a little lighter. I have about 20,000 miles on them & have been very happy with them.

Just put AT3s on my Titan a few weeks ago after 65K miles on Goodyear Wranglers. Ride quality and noise level were an instant improvement and wet road handling is dramatically better. I'm no longer spinning tires when pulling out onto a wet highway. Hope they last long but I'm only 200 miles in.

Use the search function! 45K+ threads
Seems like the Nitto Ridge Grapplers have a good following.
You're gonna need more than that cooper street tire where we're going Son!
I've run the Falken on 3 trucks....solid tire and would pick them over the coopers. ymmvLast edited by Traildust; 03-22-2021, 09:16 AM.

As a couple have mentioned above you might want to check out the toyo at III which is their newest tread pattern. I am impressed with them so far. Great wet pavement handling and a bit more aggressive than the cooper at3. If you go with the toyo rt you are probably going to have problems keeping them round and get blocky and rough after a while and not the greatest wet pavement handling
