Also Texas has won 2 baseball national championships, 1 football, was a freak injury away from a second and screwed out of a shot at a 3rd and played in a final four in the last 20 years.

Over the past 3 NCAA tournaments, Tech has more wins each of those 5. Look it up and then tell me I’m delusional again.

And it’s still an inferior program and a less desired job. TT’s success has come because of Beard and he’ll get a better job because of that success. Again I might be wrong, but only time will tell.

Tech has had some recent success, but it’s not in the same discussion as those teams BOB mentioned above. C’mon man. Many teams have had a few “run” years....UNLV comes to mind. That don’t make them CBB blue bloods.

I started to make a list of better coaching jobs than TT, but when I got to about 50, including “every ACC school”, I realized I could explain it, but I can’t help him understand it.

Beard is absolutely a better coach than K...over the past 3 years.

What has K done in the past 3 years?

Beard doesn’t have the body of work that K has...because Beard is just getting started.

By your logic ou is a basketball powerhouse because they have won the most post season games without winning a national championship? What is it 42 wins without a title?

Back to original question, I think Shaka is safe. He showed improvement, won the big12 tournament, and is well liked by the players.
