May sound like a dumb question, but are they edible like that? Can you drag them to a barn to thaw a little and salvage some meat?

I'd be skinning them deer and let them hang

X2. Gona go take a look around tomorrow and see if we've lost any. I'm sure we have but we will at least put them to good use

                That’s a shame I hate seeing that
Hopefully some meat can be salvaged and too many won’t die

If hanging them outside you don't need to skin them yet. Just gut & hang

So far we are doing good. I have been putting out 1250-2000 lbs of feed out a day. Started last week. The trips to the ranch are getting old driving 30 mph but if it saves one animal it’s worth it. I have been putting out corn , cotton seed cubes , stocker ten and they have round bales in a few areas. It’s gonna be a rough night though.

They are all small. If there is a decent size one I'll for sure do that.

Made a trip out today cut ice and put out more feed. Saw both zebra most bb and half the axis. Wt looked good as well as the cows and llamas. If we can just make it a few more days.

Gather them up and post your location on here. Someone will take them. Hide, backstraps and quarters no matter the size are worth it.

I expect to find some tomorrow. Will skin and quarter whatever I can. Have members/friends already offering to help if I find any no matter the size.

This evenings drive I spotted 1 out of 2 waterbuck, 15 llamas, 2 out of 30 axis, all whitetail, 7 out of 15 Blackbuck, all fallow. I expect the axis grouped up under a tree and either alive or dead. Blackbuck same way but will know tomorrow when I make my walk.

I would be happy to do the gathering if anyone has any on their property that would go to waste. I’m located by Lake Whitney and could probably make an hour or two drive. My truck needs some work done, so I’d be concerned going much further. I wish y’all the best of luck with your critters though.
