Fun trip down to the lease. I killed a mid 150s 11pt to finish my season. Probably the widest buck I have taken to date.

Vila Union, Coahuila
Great Season back in the hills. Got a couple shots, not the big one but he’s not going anywhere and neither am I. No finer place in the world than Northern Mexico for the Deer Season.

Man, I looked at a place that way in 2004 and swear I couldn't find a deer track anywhere on that 6K acres. We passed but outfitter kept saying there were big deer that way. Looked more like mule deer country than whitetail. Good to know there are actually deer there

Beautiful looking ranch, Rob. There’s something magical about hunting these hills around Villa Union! It makes for a much more challenging, yet rewarding hunt when you connect with one of these wiley bucks around here. The scenery certainly adds to it!
