I have a 2020 h22 bay with a Yamaha 175, it will run 40 with gear and 4 people, 47 with 2 people. So far I’ve enjoyed the heck outta the thing. No complaints.
I bought a new h20B in 2016. I love it. It has a 115 hammer sho on it. It’ll run 42 with 2 big men in it. If I had it to do over again. I’d get the 150hp and I would not get it on a backtrack trailer. The trailers are junk.

Curious what problems you have had out of the backtrack trailers? That's what mine has and I have had no issues at all with it?

Both my hub covers cracked 3 months from purchase.
Carpet bunks became loose...1 fell off first year
Aluminum side bunk bars broke and I had to replace. Both sides.
Diamond plate step cracked.
Leaf spring broke. 2nd year.
I may have got the Lemon trailer but if you search xpress info I’m not the only one. I will never own another backtrack trailer.
I love my HD18. I found it on here a year and a half ago. Wish it had a 115 on it but still love the boat. No problems with the trailer other than a slightly bent axle when I got it, but I'm replacing that this month.

I still think you might have gotten the tbh deal of the decade on that thing lol
No offense to the xpress but the avid is a Cadillac in comparison. My xpress was 10 years old when I sold it and starting to see cracks in transom and front eyelet welds

I liked the Vexus I saw at the boat show but can’t find pricing. I built one (the 1980cc) on their site with pretty basic options and it was over $40k.

There is a guy on another forum I frequent that knows the owners. He just took delivery of a glass boat.
I can find out if you want. But I bet it's over 40. Also an entirely different boat
