Looks to me like maybe photoshop. If the mech opened that close to the top portion of the nose bridge then I'd think there would be some serious trauma to the bone structure in that area. Atleast I hope thats what it is, but maybe it just healed up good like critters tend to do sometimes. Either way it is a bad deal and as a bowhunter I hate to see it on the internet.

Yes, but I think that he is trying to say that even if it was a fixed blade, it wouldn't have been a kill shot. The problem was shot placement, not gear selection.
