1998 Polaris Sportsman 500

What’s it worth? It’s all original except the stator and the flywheel. Runs great. The original red plastic was sanded down and painted tan. All plastic is in good shape and not busted. Tires are original but hold air good and still have a little life in them not def not new bu any means. Seat is in good shape as well. Thinking about selling and trying to get an idea where to start. 1500-1800 is kinda what I was thinking. The 850 hit me kinda low but I didn’t know. I know you can’t buy much of a ATV for $1000

There is some truth to it being worth more now because of Covid. I was not factoring that in. Supply is down and demand is about to go way up when the next round of checks come in.

It wouldn’t hurt to ask $1,500.

For what it’s worth, I sold a 1997 500 with only 350 hours and in very good condition for $1,000 a year ago.
