Cordless Drill Question

Its a worm drive winch. No brake you can use a handle crank or a drill. They are slower than molasses to winch by hand because they are geared so low, that's why people use a drill. These are WAY safer than a regular crank up winch that uses a brake or flip switch to go up or down.

Thanks. From what I can can see, most do come with a brake system.

This is the first I have every seen these. I wish I knew about these when I built mine years ago.
