Like said above, I have had good luck recently with the ORM-D sticker and going to a UPS hub. No issues whatsoever for ammo. No pack and mail stores will take it. Luckily I have a hub not far from the house so there's no reason to try any other methods. Had some ammo sent to me with similar results. I think the penalty for shipping it without ORM-D notice is pretty significant.

Thanks for the update on FedEx. I was wondering about that. Cause I just got an unmarked box of ammo in yesterday from a distributor in Louisiana, from whom I purchased from locally that was shipped FedEx. It has a sticker marked "Cartridges small arms" followed by "ORM-D".Comment

After midnight tonight, the ORM-D sticker will no longer be accepted at UPS. I suspect that the same will apply at FedEx and the other common carriers. You will need to use the UN/DOT "Limited Quantity" placard.
