Congratulations on the deer!

Up there the racks always look a little smaller than they are due to the size of the deer.

My KS deer was 318#. My buddies was 310#. Mine was junk (fighting an abscessed tooth all week and shot the first mature deer to come out - a 117" (7) point. His looked to be around 125 or so, but taped out at 139#. It was actually the smallest he has shot up there. His biggest was 164".

Well everyone is back in tx, no more kills. Scott, the man that didn't kill, we call the Indian. This is his first year not to kill his buck. He's killed 7 in 8 years. The rest of us have been hunting there for 17 years. I've only killed 6 total. This man had tough luck this year. Anyhow thanks for following along. Until next year...
