With that said, do y'all have any advice in the meantime about diet or supplements?

Keep us updated. I've basically just accepted that I'm going to have to live with this issue and work around it. Sure would be nice to get some conclusive answers though...

As noted in 3whunt's post, pizza caused him issues. My wife had issues each time she ate tomato based hot sauce. We at first figured it was the grease in the chips she ate with the sauce, but now I'm also inclined to believe the tomatoes may have played a large part in hers.

I had mine out when I was 25. I had been having some really bad lower chest pain over the last 3-4 months. Had a bad spell at work that lasted 30-40 minutes could hardly breathe and was gagging but it would not go away. I guess I was ghost white and looked in bad shape because my boss came by and thought I was dying right there. I wanted her to drive me to the hospital but they made me leave in a ambulance. ER said I was bad gassy and constipated (talk about embarrassing knowing I was going to have to tell people from work I left in an ambulance because I was constipated) from the X-rays and CT scan they did and sent me home. I had to get cleared to go back to work and my primary care doctor made me get my gallbladder checked out and sure enough it was bad. They injected me with something and did like 2 hour scan, it came out 2 days later. I cant remember what the test was called but from what the doc told me it was the most accurate test to determine if your gallbladder was bad or not.

Read the labels on foods and try to cut out ALL saturated fats for at least a month. Eat all the leafy green vegetables you can stand, along with a small amount of lean meats like fish, poultry, or venison. Over time you should be able to add more saturated fats to your diet.

This is the supplement that I took to help thin the bile and pass the stones that I had. My buddy had gall stones and it worked for him too.

I went to a fish fry and hogged down on fried fish , onion rings, and drank a bunch of whiskey and coke’s, thought I was having a heart attack, in the ER sonogram revelation was slushy gallbladder, I am now sober and lay off fried foods, it almost normal buy still causes IBS

It affects some different than others. I haven’t had any issues since mine was removed. Eat anything I want.
You’ll learn what you can and can’t eat after it’s removed.

Mine got so bad that I could hardly tolerate any food at all, but fatty foods seemed to be particularly bad.

Since having my gallbladder removed, I can tolerate all types of foods again, however, I can't tolerate the same volume of food when I eat. In other words, I now eat a smaller amount at each sitting, but eat more frequently throughout the day.

That is how they found mine. They must have a protocol to follow because that was the last test they did. Mine was so bad it gave me pancreatitis which hurt worse than the gallbladder.

Almost exactly my story. Finally narrowed it down after primary DR kept saying acid reflux for 6months. I’d have a flare up 1-2 times a month and then it got to be more frequent. It would wake me up from a sleep and I’d be up 1-3 hours in pain, often throwing up. Anything fatty or greasy after 5-6pm was my trigger. Had my gallbladder out late Feb 2020 just before Covid started shutting down elective surgeries. I haven’t had a problem since!! Coach
