I had mine out when I was 25. I had been having some really bad lower chest pain over the last 3-4 months. Had a bad spell at work that lasted 30-40 minutes could hardly breathe and was gagging but it would not go away. I guess I was ghost white and looked in bad shape because my boss came by and thought I was dying right there. I wanted her to drive me to the hospital but they made me leave in a ambulance. ER said I was bad gassy and constipated (talk about embarrassing knowing I was going to have to tell people from work I left in an ambulance because I was constipated) from the X-rays and CT scan they did and sent me home. I had to get cleared to go back to work and my primary care doctor made me get my gallbladder checked out and sure enough it was bad. They injected me with something and did like 2 hour scan, it came out 2 days later. I cant remember what the test was called but from what the doc told me it was the most accurate test to determine if your gallbladder was bad or not.Last edited by KNP16; 11-12-2020, 01:11 PM.

With that said, do y'all have any advice in the meantime about diet or supplements?

This is the supplement that I took to help thin the bile and pass the stones that I had. My buddy had gall stones and it worked for him too.

Since having my gallbladder removed, I can tolerate all types of foods again, however, I can't tolerate the same volume of food when I eat. In other words, I now eat a smaller amount at each sitting, but eat more frequently throughout the day.
