We’ve got 3 carcasses out there and no buzzards or coyotes have touched them. It’s been surprising

We still have a lot of them here. They are all over the tall high line poles like usual. Then there are a couple areas on our property where there some dead trees, they like to roost in those, on occasions. They have been roosting in most of our dead trees lately. I think they are waiting on me to kill something. Sunday morning, they were roosting in trees behind my stand, never knew they roosted in that area also.

        They might’ve formed a union.

We noticed their absence in Mason County last weekend too. Shot a pig and nothing touched the gut pile while we were there.

I've noticed a LOT of them out west of Kerrville on I-10, used to never see any out there even with all of the deer hit on the hiway.

Had them roost in a tree at the house Monday. I had 3 hogs on the ground south of Mason Sunday. A group of about 20 buzzards flew over and circled back to roost across the creek. After 3 hours I drug the hogs to the gut pit 1/2 mile away. They were untouched.
