Probably won't last 16 years but for the money it should last plenty long enough to get your money's worth. We also run some The Judge 600lb feeders and they are built to last but are also a lot more expensive.
Remember you get what you pay for. Academy makes OK feeders, BUT when your running a lease for a job you need something you know will work and run 365/24/7

X3 - We are replacing our 55 gallon tripods and winch up feeders with GreenGo's a couple at a time, we now have 4 and I think they are great. We are buying the 400# models but they make some larger ones as well.

I'll second the Bucees feeder for the price. I have had mine out for 9 months zero issues.

Aluminum Outfitters makes a dang nice all aluminum feeder with lifetime warranty.

I have several Lamco feeders and they are really hard to beat. Several are going 3-4 years on the same battery thought the solar panel does get dirty being mounted inside the coon cages on some models. I don't care for the ASF with the solar panel mounted on the side of the feeder. Coons shred them in a heartbeat even with the cable armoring on them.

Capsule feeders are the only way to go. Pigs can't turn them over and they are easy to fill and will hold 1,000 lbs.

Did you have to empty the feeder to replace the motor?

MB Ranch King Mighty Buck has been a great feeder for me. All the components are located inside the feeder and not exposed to critters or the elements.

I bought 4 of the 1000# capsule feeders and i never.... Not one time ... ever
checked on them that at least one of them was not jammed up.
I worked with them for 5 or 6 months before giving up and buying Texas hunter product feeders

As mentioned above, the ASF EZ feeders from Bucees seem to be really good for the price. I've been running one for about a year and a half with zero issues. There's some long threads on here about them, which is what convinced me to get one.

I have these, lamcos, and ASF's.
I like the Texas Wildlife Supply ones the best. Much heavier duty steel.
