I would not stay on the island. There's only one way on and off and on case of accidents the causeway could get necked up. The port isla inn is good I hear. Blackbeard's is good to eat and also Marcello's in pi. Also watch your speed, even in Laguna vista. I've lived here since 83. Enjoy your hunt. Mexiquito breakfast tacos better than Manuel's and my mother in law runs it.

Never heard of it happening. I had a condo on the Island from 08-11 and never had an issue. I'm sure it has. If that is a possible issue you shouldn't go over the causeway to eat.

If youre staying at Port Isla Inn I would recommend Bayside Cafe in Laguna Vista. Its a mom and pops shop with some really good home cooked food. Pier 19 had some decent sea food in Port Isabel.

Im staying at Port Isla Inn for the December Laguna Laguna Atascosa hunt.

Never heard of it happening. I had a condo on the Island from 08-11 and never had an issue. I'm sure it has. If that is a possible issue you shouldn't go over the causeway to eat.

Just cuz you don’t hear about it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. Lol. I worked as a medic in PI from 09-2013 so I can tell you, yes, it does happen.

He’s going for a hunt and wants to make sure he can hunt, not a weekend family trip. Go eat on the island for dinner after you’re done.
