I’d move there in a heartbeat. Outside of the big cities the people are like good ‘ol East Tx boys. Beautiful country and outdoorsman’s paradise. Good luck on the new adventure!

Good luck!!! I spent a month in Renton for work and it is a beautiful place with lots of outdoor activities. We just had friends come to Texas from Washington and they could not get enough of our warm sun.

        Thanks everyone!

We are both excited, i'm not particularly concerned over the politics, WA is just about equal to TX as far as gun laws. They have a waiting period to buy but no class required for a CHL so it pretty much evens out. Just waiting on the ATF to approve my form 20 for my SBR but that's a federal deal... ugh Other than that I get along with just about everyone so long as they aren't A-holes so it's all good. The majority of people are mostly harmless and decent enough everywhere you go no matter what their politics are despite what the talking heads want us to think.

As far as homelessness, drugs and crappy weather that's pretty much everywhere if you look hard enough haha I grew up in SW GA so I've been bawls deep in towns with a drug problems my whole life.

The outdoor opportunities are what I'm most excited about, hopefully i can finally stick an elk after 4 years of trying lol

Got a branch manager job for a flow control and fluid power distribution company. I've been in the industrial pipe, valves, and fittings distribution and manufacturing world for the past 10 years so it'll be good to see a different side of the same business for a change.

Congrats on your new opportunities. Washington is a beautiful state for sure. Bad politics, bad people and things in general are all around. Good luck.
