How far do you store it from where you live for those who don't keep it at their house? 10 minutes from the house.

Almost exactly this. Except we pay $121/month for a 40' space.

Also, we only use it within about 1.5 hours of Katy, as our son is only 1 year old, and doesn't do long drives yet.

Currently in between Rv's but looking and consider myself an Rv'er.

Luckily able to keep it at home.

You will use it as much as you make time for. An RV in storage or the driveway is useless.

We tried to camp ours 1-2 times/month in all but the middle of summer. That included an epic trip to Yellowstone. For us, an RV allows us to vacation either longer or in places we might not be able to afford to go. Roadtips are awesome.

We always cleaned/maintained our RV ourselves.

My kids 9 and 13 have seen 27 states.

We use ours 6-7 times a year, some just weekends other three week trips.

I can get my cleaned up for $200-300 professionally but I only do that in the spring. I do it the rest of the year.

We don't generally clean before a trip, we always pick up, wash sheets, and all that when we get home so it's ready to go the next time we need it.

We store at a gated boat and RV storage probably 5 miles from our house. We pay like $800 a year for coverage storage, we have a 50' spot. I wish it had electricity so I could trickle charge the battery easier but not a big deal. Solar has worked fairly well.
