A few questions for Rv owners

How much do you pay to store it?
    Do you have covered storage?
How often do you use it (not including as deer camp or second home)
How much does it cost to have it cleaned after a trip? And do you need to have it cleaned before a trip if it has been in storage for a month or more?
How far do you store it from where you live for those who don't keep it at their house?

I have a Class A diesel pusher. We are just getting back into RV'ing and trying to go once a month. I pay 2k per year for covered storage and it is about 2 miles from my home. We clean and maintain the camper with as much DIY as we can. I cant store at my home due to the size of it. Covered storage will help resale value IMO.

        Open storage will cost $50-75
        Covered $90-130
I clean it myself after each trip inside and wash the outside before each trip. We usually take it on 4 trips a year other than the deer lease. If you’re trying to justify the expense you can’t. But the enjoyment with the family especially while they are young is worth it.

We are new to the RV game butt....
          Mine stays at my house.
Building a 20x40.... 14' tall lean-too for it now (extending my shop)
I wash before we head out.
We take at least one trip per month.

How much do you pay to store it? $0.00 stays at my house
Do you have covered storage? Covered attached to shop
How often do you use it (not including as deer camp or second home) maybe 3-4 times a year. Not near enough.
How much does it cost to have it cleaned after a trip? And do you need to have it cleaned before a trip if it has been in storage for a month or more? Clean inside and outside myself. Don’t need to clean before trip. When we pack up to come home we clean inside thoroughly.

How much do you pay to store it?
                  115/month

                  Do you have covered storage?
Yes covered storage and electricity (30a)

How often do you use it (not including as deer camp or second home)
For family vacations probably 4-8 times a year

How much does it cost to have it cleaned after a trip? And do you need to have it cleaned before a trip if it has been in storage for a month or more?
                  Nothing, we do it ourselves

How far do you store it from where you live for those who don't keep it at their house?
About 30 minutes away. It was 5 min from my previous house but when we moved we left it there because of price and am ok with a short drive to it.

We had a 27' class A RV. Absolutely loved it. Used for hunting, family camping at nearby state parks, 2 trips to Disney, trips to Palo Duro, Big Bend, Arkansas. Took it to motorcycle races and 4 wheelin' for me and my son. Even used it to take my wife and her bro and sis in law to Michigan for grandma's funeral. Used it to tailgate at the dome. Took my daughter to many horse shows. Many memories made!
However, it does NOT save you money. A motel is cheaper. And, not everyone uses theirs as much as we did. If you buy one, you will need to recognize it is an expense. For me, well worth it.

                          Class C 31 ft.
                          Nothing at the house
Fixing to build a cover for it at the house.
Clean it ourselves inside and out.
2-3 long trips a year. Our oldest daughter is getting her Doctoral degree and takes it to stay in 1 weekend a month. We try and take the grandkids on short 4-6 hour day trips to close by state parks once a week while my wife is home schooling them.
                          At the house.

Good feedback this far. Thx! I'm surprised how many have space for it at their house. I guess yall are living right and not living in a neighborhood like myself.

$140 per month, covered 40' storage - about 5 miles from my house.
We try to use it once per month for a 3-5 day trip per outing.
My wife cleans the inside, I clean the outside and do the tank treatments - so $0 - we have a process before a trip and after a trip.
