Dang, Brandon, sounds like ya'll had a blast.

I've seen Glen fish with his little one in his kayak and they do really well out of it.

Do you have to register those? I saw one the other day that had the registration on it, didn't think you had to, but he had one on it.

I have one almost like the one in that picture and yes you have to register it unless you don't plan on putting a motor on it.

I guess that is an added plus for a Kayak, no registration needed

Bossman, will that boat fit in the back of a pickup or do you need a trailer? I've been fishing out of my Old Town canoe for a long time but that thing really hangs out of the back of my truck. I'm sure that some cop is going to pull me over one of these nights heading home.

Any recommendation for a good deep cycle battery? The Optima batteries seem pretty good.

I have an otter outdoors stealth 2000 kayak and it's awesome but if I could go back I think a simple 12 johnboat might be better. Mine is hard to beat though

Kayaks have came a long way as far as stability. They would also weigh less then the bass buster style boat.

Difficult to put a 2 horse Mercury and trolling motor on a Kayak.
