Overlap them. They don’t stack directly one on top of another (butt up to one another). We didn’t mill them. It has the visual affect of hardy lap but with cedar and use the live edge on the bottom so it shows. It’s a heavy material so you’ll want to use 16 gauge 2” finish nails or finish screws and attach to the studs in the wall. The mail heads or screw are covered when you lap the next piece.

I did a reclaimed barn wood wall in my son’s bedroom. Picked it up from a place north of Waco that deals specifically in reclaimed barns and custom reno’s. Didn’t think they’d touch my tiny board foot order, but they were super kind and accommodating. I love the character it has.
