Hunting the new moon

What is your experiences? My only shot to go is next weekend. New moon on Friday the 16th. Moon will be up all day. Actually rises about an hour before sunrise and sets 10 mins after.

Go hunt. I am certainly not going to let that stop me. Now, this past weekend was way too hot to sit in an enclosed blind. I do draw the line there.

Yup....I'd rather hunt a new moon than a full moon.

I hunt every opportunity in given no matter what the weather is doing or what phase the moon is in(can'tkill em from the couch). Using trail cams the past several years and actually paying attention to time & dates has really changed my perspective about deer movement & feeding. And on top of that we will all agree that any day in the woods or on the water is better than a day at work anytime!

I hunt any opportunity given, but I prefer hunting around a full moon rather than a new moon. Just seems to be better for me.

Lol, I think he wants to hunt your stand while u are home, more day time movement with a new moon.
