I agree face looks good. It looks like a young cat or just skinny like stated.
I question why you all shoot those cats so early, no fur to them. Bobcats are pretty territorial, wait til winter when they fur up to take one.
We trap them up here late Nov. into Feb. but sign and cats are seen all fall.

I shot this one a couple years ago during the winter and finally dropped it off at my taxi this year.
I do understand the want for one with a bow.
I guess I'm not used to seeing the less furry bobcats .
Might have a nice Wyoming bobcat hide for sale this winter if fur prices don't come back.
I killed one with a bow a few years ago. He was a big cat and prolly the biggest Ive shot. I didn't mount it due to all the horror stories. I wouldn't have been mad about that mount. As mentioned the eyes are always jacked on cat mounts.
That one does not look high on crack like most others
Hey. Who cares what anyone thinks? It is something special to you and being you took it with the bow, which makes it even more special.
It does look dark, but must just be the fur that time of year. YOU are the only one who knows what it looked like when you saw it live.
I like it, would not mind having it on my shelf.
I mounted my first one. It was pretty good, but I still wasn't happy with it, so I sold it for the cost of the mount $550. Guy was good with cats too. It was just a young female. Ever since, I've shot and trapped a bunch, and just don't have the desire to take my chances to get one mounted again, because most have been worse then that first one I got mounted, and that Taxidermist is retired. I agree with the 6/10. Cat looks like a wet tater chip, but I've seen worse.
