Seems like many people didn't read the original post or they are just dense and/or argumentative. Yes he should have not waited until opening day to get his license, BUT other customers came in AFTER him and got service before him. They didn't even try to help him. I would be ****** as well. However, the fact that he was needing a license the day of probably made it worse.

Man I’m glad we don’t sell licenses. We had a hard time keeping up as it was. We thought we were set For the weekend with VXR inventory. Had 14 on Wednesday. They made it thru lunchtime Friday. All gone.

You’ve eluded that you were going to buy something else but won’t tell us. You said they are friends, maybe they were used to you hanging around and weren’t sure. It was likely a hectic day. A quick heads up saying I’m interested in looking at ____ when you get a chance may have got you attention. Your several posts in asking us what you were gonna buy, how do we know?

Why anyone doesn’t buy their hunting license online for dove season, so have the deer tags mailed by hunting season in this day and age is beyond me.

                Sight Light
                6 G5 Montecs broad heads
12 Lighted nocks for my Arrows
                Bow Sling
Get a recommendation on a good swivel bow chair, if there is such a thing.

I fail to see how this has any impact on my original post.
The primary care reason I no stopped there was to get a license.
To me it's no different than going to the gas station to get gas and since you're there picking up a 6 Pack.

As far as buying it online. Not a fan of buying anything online.

Did I fail to mention i patiently waited my turn to be seen?

I guess CUSTOMER service has stipulations now......

Yea spend more money get priority. Buying a license they make nothing off of isn't going to make you a priority, your gonna have to wait till they can do it

This shop does not want him as a Customer. He says they are friends, but given how they treat him, I don't think the feeling is mutual.

                      OP needs to move on.

NEVER assume a customer is not buying, does not have the $$$ or anything else.

PB unless you regularly go in the place and ask to look at bows, arrows, or any other goods and rarely purchase anything then you were definitely wronged.
I would not have waited as long as you did, first time you skip me I am out the door.

And for the ones that say "it is a loss for them to sell licenses" then why sell them?
Oh yeah, it is because it gets customers in the place who also end up buy extra stuff and increasing your sales.

I would not normally wait until last minute to get my license, but this has been a crazy year so I can see how one might forget or not even have an opportunity until then too
I couldn't agree more! The fault lies on the shop in this one (IMO).
