Precious 2 X times i wanted a new bow. No one ever bothered to ask if i needed help...

Sucky past is most of the people are friends......

There's probably 364 better days to head into a bow shop. Opening day of bow season isn't one.

          Yep
          That's whyI quit going.

For several years I used to spend 3-5 hrs there on Saturday shooting.
Wanted me arrows and kept getting pressed to the end of the line. Took 3 visits to get 6 arrows built.

You waited an hour and a half, on the way to the deer lease, to buy a hunting license? On opening day? Many things wrong here unless something didn't translate.
You don't drive past a wal mart, grocdry store, feed store, etc?

I do. They're not locally owned small businesses

Well, you did wait till opening day, to get your hunting permit...on opening day. If you suspected they wernt gonna give you service, why go in the first place

Glad I wasn’t the only one that blamed alcohol for the post.

I'm a paying customer. Who gives a rats what I was or wasn't buying.

So following yours and others logic since its opening day ee can't go shopping for anything period.

So do enlighten me what is one allowed or not allowed to buy on opening day? Who makes that decision? How is said decision disseminated?

Lets say I do need something on opening day where might I find a list of approved vendors? Who decides on that list? Where might I find it? Is it searchable? Will i be required to show proof need? ....

I think the point others are trying to make is poor planning on your part doesn't make it an emergency on their part. Just plan a little better next time
