Just getting caught up and reading through the entire post. Sounds like a great experience and a solid hunt! I have a freezer full of elk now from my AZ hunt at the same time and it is some of the best table fare I've ever eaten! Going to try my first elk roast on the grill tomorrow night. Thanks for letting us follow along!
