I have also hear that working dogs should have a 's' sound in their name, because that sound travels better/farther. Not sure if that is true or not, just throwing that out there.
I named my first one, Browning. My second one is Tipton Timothy or Bubba. We rescued him off of Tipton Road in Victoria County near our old house. He answers to either one.
Anything but the usual Remmy, Remington, teal, etc duck references lol. We name all our dog's human names. My new dog's name is Mae, easy to yell and say.
