Well I have the truck pretty much loaded other than my two bows and I’m headed out at 5am. Seems like the more of these trips out west you do the less stressful the packing is. I have everything loaded with quite a bit of room to spare. Doing 10 day’s in New Zealand and everything needing to be under 100 pounds I think helped with my gear a lot.

Well part one of the trip is done. Went into one of my favorite areas to fish and a spot that I might hunt later in the year. It rained a ton on me and I didn’t really get to fish. Caught a couple and camped out Sunday night. I couldn’t believe how cold it got. I was warm all night but woke up to frost on everything. Monday I hiked into a area scouting for elk. I didn’t see any elk but the sign looks really promising. I am now in Denver meeting my buddy for lunch at the Denver biscuit company.

Well stopped by my buddy Phil’s bow shop in Denver. No limits archery. He has one bad *** shop.





Got to stretch it out a little and make sure my bow was shooting good.
