20-21 Official Duck Thread

Lot of ducks flying this morning up here. Really need this rain to keep coming so they have some places to land!

Good numbers this morning, probably 10k over the field we hunted. Haven’t had that many since the season opened.

The real question is how are the geese looking up there? Month away or so before season starts.

Seems like there have been some more snows pushing in the last few days. There were a bunch flying a few weeks ago, I’m not sure where they are though. You can have all the sky carp lol!

Lots of specks this year. Probably more than I’ve ever seen. It’s worth spec hunting now, I just wish they’d raise the limit.

This morning was my best duck hunt ever. (Relative newbie on heavily hunted public land) The weather looked crappy and I almost didn’t go, but I’m glad I did. I got my first limit ever. My first pintail, my first spoony and my first double. What an epic hunt.

Heck of a hunt! Congrats!

Good hunt on a creek with my buddy last Saturday. Woodies were coming in fast the first half hour or so. We ended up getting 5 but had our shooting been better we would've had limits before sunrise easily.
