Lot easier for the shop owner to say nothing other than there is no returns or refunds on arrows and all warranty issues will need to be taken up between the buyer and manufacturer. I deal with 200-300 folks a week in my business, the ability to "read" a customer is a blessing. The ability to keep your mouth shut is priceless.

Back when I got into archery over 50 years ago, you had to learn by reading what you could find, or talk to someone that had some expertise on the subject, and that was usually at a hard to find archery shop.
Today it's much easier and everyone who can use a computer can be a self proclaimed expert.
Do your research, and you to can be that guy that knows everything about bows and arrows.

I don’t have a lot of patience for unsolicited advice. If I go to the gas station and put a coke on the counter, I don’t want to listen to the clerk tell me why I should buy a Pepsi.
