He also said that the whole FOC thing is a gimmic & that he promises me that he can get as much if not more penetration from his 435gr arrow out of his bow than I can get out of mine with my 555gr arrow. Cause he just checked this weekend & got 11” of penetration in his foam target at 105yrds & that was with a mechanical head.

I had a guy show me what an underspined arrow can do to a person. Proceeded to show me pictures on google of a broken shaft through a person's hand. I know he was trying to talk safety but it REALLY effected me. I left shop without buying arrows and stopped shooting for awhile.

I use 400s out of a 60 pound Halon. Light point weight and trimmed to 29 1/2. Carbon get stiff quick when trimmed. They certainly fly better than the 340 were.
That’s why I do all of my own work. I bought a small press and an arrow saw and have learned how to keep my equipment in shape. I got tired of stepping into the archery shops that are full of experts trying to sell me an 1800$ rig to shoot a whitetail at 20 yards. I love to support small business but I’m not someone who likes to be waited on hand and foot. And I don’t believe that a lot of small businesses realize that they can push people away by being so pushy. Just like car dealerships, I want to look around unpressured. If I want to buy something I will find you
On one hand I see your point and agree, on the other hand I see he might have been trying to avoid the "you sold me what I asked for but it's wrong and now I want my money back" type too
