Thanx but I don't have Netflix. Gotta wait for it on Redbox. BTW, did you watch Outpost to compare?

Yes I watched outpost as soon as it came out. I’m kind of a “war junkie” so I’ve watched most all of the documentaries from WWII, Vietnam, and pretty much everything from the Sandbox. I was obsessed with Vietnam as a child (I grew up in the 80’s). Outpost was a good movie, as far as it’s depictions of events and accuracy of details. But it’s a lot different from watching a live/raw documentary where those guys are real soldiers, not actors and they are taking live fire from real guns and real enemy combatants that want kill them.

The same guy that did Restrepo has another documentary on Amazon called “Korengal”. It kinda picks up where Restrepo left off. It’s a very good watch. It’s a live/real documentary. Real guns. Real bullets. It was very moving for me watching it. So if you are that type of person, be prepared for it.

I am the same way and I get the Hollywood thing cause little errors irritate me. True event movies and well made docs are my favorite.

I was amazed in watching the credits that most of the Men who survived played themselves in the movie.

We watched it last weekend. Great movie. I said a special prayer for our soldiers that night because of that movie.

Yeah the guy that did those two documentaries was embedded with them I think. I can't remember if I saw a separate interview with the guy or if it was part of those. I haven't watched them in a long time.
