    Movie: The Outpost

My wife and I just finished watching this true story movie and wow. I suggest you watch this movie about a battle in Afghanistan and how our brave guys fought 400 or more Taliban.

Watched it last night, reminded me of how the restrictive ROE’s were a frequent discussion back then.

Excellent movie. Filmmakers did, what I believe, to be a great job of portraying a soldier's life in Afghanistan. And the major attack at the end of movie was incredible. God bless our servicemen and women!

It’s a documentary on Amazon/Netflix. An outpost in the Korengal that was named after a soldier/medic (Doc Restrepo) killed in action. It’s a live/raw unnarrated type documentary. Not a movie like Outpost. It’s worth a watch if you want to see what it’s really like vs what Hollywood shows you.

I’ll second that. It’s just about the soldiers who took fire almost daily.

Put a military outpost in the bottom of a bowl. Great strategery like W said!!

That's solid documentary. There is another I believe on there as well. If you watch the Medal of Honor series on Netflix, there are two episodes about the 2 guys that got a MOH in one of the final attacks on the base. It's the one the movie is based on.

                              Watched it this afternoon.

Good movie without a doubt, but ****** me off that our Troops were put in that situation.

Hope more people watch the movie. It really was good.

I found it on Amazon Prime Video and had to rent it. Well worth the money.
