Where did the boats go?

I am looking for a used cheap Aluminum boat right now, so that i can use it to duck hunt and get access to some public land spots. It seems that any that are reasonable on price are picked up pretty quickly, and the ones that are left are either not worth having, or the seller is very proud of them.

The market for boats seems to be very good right now.

Don't forget that boat manufactures were shut down for several month during Covid-19. The supply is down, and the demand is higher because people want to social distance now.

I am a real estate appraiser thought I would be dead in the water with Covid-19. Instead I have had 4 of the best months I have had. Doesn't look like it is going to stop anytime soon.

I have a real estate agent friend and she has has a record month in July with 18 closings already. There are 5 homes for sale in our neighborhood and all are making a 20-25% profit on their initial purchase price. It's crazy how fast they are selling.

Very true, there is not an excess inventory in the boat and truck world as most expected.

I would have never thought it, local deal is out of stock and has a sign that says boats back soon, tackle aisles are ransacked. It could be the social distancing thing, only other thing I can think of is with these stimulus packages and them printing all this money people think inflation is going to go through the roof so they are buying big ticket items NOW
