We went to buy a jet ski a month ago and ended up buying what they had left, not what we wanted.

The Everglades 243 that I need to buy next to my house is still for sale as of last week.

May not even take a couple of years. I bet next summers end you can get a bargain.

I hope so. I just hope people start pricing stuff realistically. Most of the time they try to start at $5K more than the new boats.

That's why I'm thinking a couple years, it'll take them a year to decide to sell and then another year to really get tired of the payments. If yall have boats, campers, bicycles, etc you're on the fence or close to selling I'd do it now at the top rather than later after the market is flooded. Just a hunch. I plan to keep my current Boatright forever but otherwise I'd be considering it.

Same here in SETx, local Skeeter dealer in Beaumont/Jasper is out of boats and record sales in May/June, 40% over his best month ever. I am like everyone else thinking there will be a fire sale at some point but when? My fishing buddy is in a unique social distancing situation at his job and works a week and off a week but still gets paid salary. More or less he's fishing 10 days straight, Friday to the following Sunday on Rayburn, Toledo, Nacogdoches and Naconiche. He says Mondays are now like Fridays in the spring and the traffic gets a bit lighter on Tuesday - Thursday but it's still crowded.

I have been shopping but I want a deal and those are non existent at a dealer these days. I read of some sweet used deals people have picked up but they are travelling 4-10 hours from home to get them once found on the internet.

I thought we might see some deals now or through the fall but with the stimulus, I am not sure. I am betting they will extend the package with Covid cases rising.

It took me until I was 50 years old, to let myself buy a new to me nice boat.
Up until then, I just peaced together old flatbottoms. I'm not selling mine until I have anther one in hand.

I am a real estate appraiser thought I would be dead in the water with Covid-19. Instead I have had 4 of the best months I have had. Doesn't look like it is going to stop anytime soon.

I bought a nice low hour 2007 22 foot Pathfinder last year and fixed all the little things it needed. I planned on keeping it for the next 10-15 years, but if I can make a little on it I might have to let it go.
