Yeti replaced a 7 year old 75 quart for me and a 45 quart that was also out of warranty. Sent me the new coolers, I sent my old ones back, easy to deal with.

I bought a RTIC soft side and it would leak no matter how tight the zipper was. They wouldn't replace it because it was a month out of warranty.

Throw an empty juice jug or 2 liter bottle filled with water in the freezer, use that over night in the cooler the night before you plan to use it. That will “pre chill” the cooler.

Also if you are putting room temp drinks in the cooler that will cause issues too. Prechilling the cooler and the drinks are the key to long lasting ice.

RTIC customer service SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sent them an email because I had won an RTIC gun case in a raffle. It was still in the unopened box and I wanted to exchange it for the longer gun case and pay the difference in price. They told me they would only do it if i had the original receipt for the gun case. I replied and again explained i was willing to pay the price difference between the gun cases so they would not be losing any money. This time I received a very short and crude response that they would not do it without the original receipt. I then called them and had the same conversation on the phone. I tried to be cordial in our discussions but the RTIC customer service rep was not friendly and very rude on the phone. I got nowhere with them and told the rep that I was disappointed in their unprofessional email responses and their rude and terrible attitude while trying to discuss it over the phone. Done with RTIC, they can kiss my *****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also the rtic soft cooler lining on the top cane apart in several areas. Going to try to give them a call this week myself but don’t expect any help.

This has not been my experience. I have the small, medium and large hard RTIC's and they really hold ice well.

Pelicans warranty is awesome. I had a warped lid. They were the easiest customer service to deal with. Sent me a new cooler no problem. Even let me keep the old one.

I have a 145qt olive/brown and we put 8x20lb bags in it when we go to our fish camp. Cooler stays in the sun/wind on the pontoon barge for 4 days and we poach bags of ice from it for other coolers each day. Usually day 4 when we're loading up we'll have two half bags left in it to top off our fish coolers and run back. I'm pretty satisfied with it.

I leave the one Pelican cooler I have (a 65 quart) at the deer lease for a back up... For it's size, it takes up a LOT of room. It's taller than any other similar sized coolers, plus the way the lid/latches are constructed it has a big wide flange that effectively makes the cooler's footprint almost as big as the Rtic 110... I really wanted to like the Pelican coolers as I'm a Pelican Case fanboy, but it is awkward size and does not keep ice anywhere as well as my Rtic coolers.
