Well......us poor folk don't have them fancy brick mail boxes, but when I bought my first, and current house(frame house), we didn't have a mailbox, just a box at the post office. So I welded up a nice heavy duty frame out of 2" tubing, painted it black and bolted the mail box to. Made it real pretty and used enough concrete, and a big enough hole to hold down a basketball goal......and then proceeded to knock it right out of the ground by backing in to it with my Tundra because I forgot it was there. Good thing is, I made everything so stout, I just leaned it back into the ground and everything just kind of fell back into place. That concrete fit the hole like a puzzle piece, and next time it rained, everything settled and was good as new

Sounds like you have yourself an honest neighbor. Those a few and far between.

The employees got a good laugh, then the footage was erased.

After Harvey we went down to aransas pass to help my little brothers father in law and grandfather in law clean up. We spent two full days rebuilding the 5 strand barbwire fence in front of their property. Two days after i left and came back home my brother called me and said well you arent gunna believe this but someone ran through grandpas fence and tore down probably 400 ft of it. How they were going fast enought o lose control on Ave A in aransas pass that had live oak branches and debris stacked 15 ft tall on either side is beyond me. They eventually just walked donw the road following the scrape marks the t post made as they were dragging them behind the car and followed right to a house with a wrecked car with barbwire wrapped around everything underneath. Think the person worked for the City if i remember the full story and was drunk as a skunk.
