I dont think what you are looking for exists. Not sure how to get a knapped point onto a carbon arrow. Good luck on your quest but I think you would have better luck killing a black panther.

heard something about a guy named rusty craine in fort worth has done it, as far as how, figured you could drill a small hole in the stone and attach the thread, or melt glass around a steel wire frame attached to threads, seems possible to me any how

I once talked to a guy from Australia that was knapping his own points and hunting with them. I can't remember for sure, but I believe he was using aluminum shafts with a wood dowl epoxied inside with the head attached to the dowl.

Last I talked to him he had killed every animal that he hit with the stone points.

I saw a few video's on huntingfootage.com of a guy that was hunting with some stone points, but I think he made his own. Not sure how they were attached.

I know a guy in Utah that makes his own, but he also makes his own arrows - no carbon.

I think you are out of luck, sounds like you need to get yourself a longbow/recurve and use woodies.

Seems like awhile back I saw how a man attached some screw in adapters to stone points with epoxy, but don't remember much about it.

Stone points are sharper than anything you'll get from a package. The screw-in aspect I'm not sure about. Never had a wood arrow blow up in my face, but have had a couple carbons come unglued and scare the snot out of me.

Did you see theTrad episode where he was going to try and kill a Bull Elk with a stone point? Gut shot it and got about 2" of penetration and never found the animal. Ethical or unehtical?

Some of you guys need to get your hands a a well knapped point. They are sharp. There is nothing unethical about it at all.

Why would a cedar shaft blow up in your face..? You gonna shoot it with training wheels?
