Adding A/C condensate pump? Anybody done it?

Thanks men. Meeting w/ a/c guy manana. Have gone total redneck in the meantime. Cut the drain and dumping condensate into Home Depot bucket and throwing condensate out onto lawn every few hours. So far, so good.

Surprised at how much water it makes? I have had a few people do that, most can't believe the volume of water the ac takes out.

Being in the home building business the amount of condensate hasn't surprised me. Except that i would've guessed it actually made more condensate than it does. But yeah, it's a bunch.
