While we're at it, my Dad just tested positive at his nursing home yesterday. Presently showing no symptoms but definitely not a youngster. Lifelong hunter. Earliest hunting memory for me with him is in a duck blind when I was three. Would appreciate prayers for him.

I actually did a little research after watching this video and it appears there is some validity to using an inhaled corticosteroid (budesonide or dexamethisone) for relief of symptoms due to CV-19 for SOME patients. Ask your dad’s hospitalist if he might be a candidate. If you don’t get an answer you’re comfortable with, ask for a second—or third—opinion.

Wanted to update yall again:

He is on supplemental oxygen, dexamethasone IV, and antibody plasma from recovered COVID patients. Nurse said he is doing fairly well and resting comfortably. Yall are a great bunch of people, I cannot begin to tell you how much my family and I appreciate all the kind words. Thank yall.
