Windmill Solar Pumps

I have been seeing 20 to 25k in the hill country.

I just did a 300 ‘ solar well in Brown Co.
Drilling was $25/ft. Cased and ready to be completed.
The solar completion was about the same cost $6K more or less.
The well took forever to get scheduled, but Steve Harris out of Comanche really did a great job putting the pump and solar panel/switch on my well. Only 4-5 gallons a minute, but good for my cows. I poured my own concrete slab and bought my tank and plumbed that myself.

Like above poster, I will never regret the decision

The “tank” is 1100 gallon plastic tank for reservoir.
I also ran lines and plumbed 3 concrete troughs which are gravity fed from the green plastic tank Well was drill up up on a hill near the center of the pasture.

Looking into transitioning out existing windmill to solar.

What is a good solar system and can they be installed easy without paying someone?
Looking at the RPS 800V. It seems to be a complete kit with panels, pump, etc.
