This is what I have and love it. Easy to set up and I’ve never had any issues with it. Year before last had 18” of snow dumped on us w/ no issues

This is the inside of the 16x20 Davis tent that fargus has with 3 cots. We had 2 tables inside as well, 1 for cooking and 1 for eating. Had enough room for our gear as well.

Thanks guys, this has been super helpful! I just got off the phone with the guys at Davis tents....like everyone has said, they seem to be top notch and was happy to help me out. Thanks for the inside pic of the 16x20. We have the same cots as the one on the far left...oversized cot so having 3 or 4 of those was one of my concerns.

Think I'm planning to stake out a 14x16 and lay out cots and gear to make sure everything can fit in that and be comfortable.

Again, thanks for all the help guys. I'll report back with what we end up getting.

If you are looking to buy then Davis is the best. If you get into it and decide you don't want to buy, I rent a wall tent set up.

          (3) 14x16 Davis Wall Tents with wood burning stoves, floors and rainfly's
          (12) Davis cots and bedrolls
          (1) 400qt Grizzly cooler
Several other accessories all in a 6x12 covered trailer.

Rent the entire rig for $200/day.

          PM me with any questions.

Thanks again for all the input on this subject guys. Ended up pulling the trigger yesterday and went with a Davis Tent.

16x20 - Figured it would be better to have too much room then not enough
Screened in doors on front and back - with Colorado doors
                1 window on each side
                3/4 floor

Expected to ship in about 5 weeks and can't wait to get it up in the mountains later this year.

                Appreciate all the help!

Get a tarp for a rain fly, you will want it. Just cut out a spot for the stove jack.
Did you get the frame kit, you'll want the angles to cut your own conduit for poles. Much better than a wood frame.

Set it up when you get it and let it get wet to shrink down a little to the frame and set the canvas so to speak. You're going to love it.
Hope it brings your camp good luck this fall.

Appreciate it! Yes, Davis is including the framing angle kit for a 5 column frame and will send exact measurements to cut the conduit after the tent is made. Like many have stated above the experience with Davis was top notch, very helpful in making the final decisions. Also spent some time on "breaking" the tent in like you mention above. Plan is to fully set it up, stake it out, and put a hose on it to soak it then let it fully dry. A few people I talked to at Davis said this step isn't necessary but good to do if you have the time.
