ADVICE: Double H Boots and Twisted X

I bought a pair of twisted x and they did not last for three months. I now wear a pair of arias and they have been holding up very well. So far happy with them. Will not waste my money on twisted x again.

Interesting. I have been wearing Twisted X for 10 years and I usually wear the soles out before anything else.

The Double H Ice boots are very tough. I go through a pair about every 18 months. Very comfortable and don't look to bad when shined or new. Spot on with above comment mine are between 220-250/ pair.

They’re pretty decent. I’ve bought the same exact pair about five times in a row. They last me right at a year a piece.

Double H for me , for casual and work

I really don’t know, besides a couple pairs of dress boots and a couple different brands of work boots I have pretty much worn double h for 40+ years. I did buy a pair of double H non American made and threw them in the trash after a couple of months. I’m pretty rough on work boots and I get about 2 years out of a pair. After a few months I order a super thin insert from HH that’s not sold in stores, I spend 12+ hrs a day on my feet.

Man 40 is a big number. That's good information for me to know.

Double H are great boots but I hate the cross section stitching on most of their boots. Both pair I had burnt the stitching out in about 6 months from welding etc.

I only wear Twisted X anymore. They are super comfortable and I will wear the soles out before any of the rest of the boot. For me it is all about comfort as I can war any boot out in a year.

Yep my only beef with them (at least the ones I wear) is the soles can’t be replaced. The body of the boot is typically still in good shape, just the soles are toast.

I’ve worn both and find the Twisted X to be more comfortable but the Double H are more durable. I wear my regular twisted x mocs almost daily when I’m off work and I love them. Work boots are another story. I wear them out way too quick.
