How many only hunt in the evening

I hunt both morn/eve, and place multiple stands for varying winds. Also so I can move around a lot keeping my stands fresh. Spend more time strategizing on entry/exit than I do on actual placement of the stands. Oh, and also, deer can see quite well in the dark. Good Huntin, and God Bless, Rusty

Hunt both, but have had best results in morning. Also, dig the woods waking up all around with me hunkered down watching. Evening hunts has advantage of doing scouting on walk to stand so there’s that. Most days hunt both AM and PM because that’s why I went.

Not that I've killed any monster's,but all of the best deer were killed in the morning's.The 3 best were near 10a.m.

Killed my two biggest at 10am and 2pm. I like hunting the morning the most just because everything get "lighter" versus "darker". How many times have we all seen a big deer step out just as it is too dark to see or shoot? I like hearing the wood wake up.

I can count on two hands the number of mature shooters I've seen in the evenings. Most times I see the better bucks in the morning. Trail cam pics over the years also support this. That being said, I really dislike getting out of bed at 4:00am on a frosty cold morning. The lure of the hunt pulls me out of bed though.

I'm not a morning person, never have been. If I'm hunting a new ranch, on a package hunt, or got pictures of a certain buck in the morning then I'll get up and hunt. When I was younger I went years with out making a morning hunt. I love the afternoon hunt and/or late morning hunts.

I hunt both. Normally get in about 1/2 hr before shooting time and stay till 11. After lunch I get in about 1:30-2 and sit till the end of legal shooting.

I’ve always liked mornings better. Love watching the woods wake up. Also, if you do shoot a deer the recovery can be a lot easier during the daylight.

I’m the deer taxi driver. I drop my dad off first and feed for him. Then another elder on our lease and feed for him. Then feed my stand and park the truck. It’s usually light enough to not use a flashlight. Lol. But this is the hill country and deer are plentiful.
