I would mix with water and soap rather than diesel if your spraying the stalks/leaves etc... diesel might kill/hurt plant before remedy has time to soak all the way into root system, idk how well its gonna work on bamboo. good luck!

You have to chop it down to the dirt. Cover it with plastic, place a little sand or dirt on the plastic to keep it held down. Come back in 6 month.

You have to smother it, then let the roots rot. My mother had a big batch of that crap!

I chopped mine down, placed black tarp on it for a couple months and it never came back. That was 7 years ago.

Pretty sure 17-25% remedy will kill everything. Cover the bottom 24" with it.

I'm in the category of strong Remedy (or equivalent) per the label instructions, soap and water. We had a pretty good size patch of bamboo that previous owners had planted and was creeping out into the yard. I cut it to the ground, let the new growth get about a foot tall and then hit it with the Remedy mix. I expected I would need to repeat this multiple times. Nope. One and done.

I’m thinking about hitting one patch with the diesel mix and one with soap and reporting back.

Just to make sure you understand let me add this. Remedy/diesel is a stem spray. You only apply it to the lower part of the plant. Remedy/water is a foliar mix. You only apply to the leaves of a plant. If you spray diesel on leaves, the plant will go dormant and have a high survival ratio. If the bamboo has leaves I'd be inclined to do foliar spray. Its cheaper and goes farther, but doesn't work on everything and I have no experience with bamboo.
