So you guys that have a tractor or work with them, do most people put anything besides air in the tires? If so, what is it and what are the benefits/cost of having this done.

The reason I was asking is I have always heard of people doing this but never understood why. I have a little better understanding now, but doubt if I really need to do it. I just bought a 55hp cab tractor, but do not plan on pulling any plows or disc. I did get a 8 foot pull behind shredder and that will most likely be the most weight it will pull. The only 3 point attachment I have is a 6 foot tiller attachment and I don't think it is heavy enough to make any noticeable difference. The loader may get a workout every now and then pushing up brush piles and maybe lifting a tree while cutting it up.
