How many pigs does it take. . .

    . . . to stop 500 grains at 2300 fps?

Depends on the size of the pig....

The world may never know. . .

Hope to get some bigger ones to cooperate. :-)

There is empirical evidence Pi does not apply to the little ones.

The first one I shot a couple weeks ago didn't have an ocular hernia. Wasn't expecting that from 2300-2350 fps.

              Good start!

I once arrowed 3 piglets with my bow. I waited until they lined up behind each other eating corn and let loose. Killed the first 2 dead, the other ran off and died.

Just a start. This Covid is going to wreak havoc on the swine population.

What sort of ordinance are we testing?

I could never get them to line up well enough to get more than 3 with a rifle, did that twice with a .264 Mag. I did shoot 7 in 2 shots with a 12 guage...the trick is to herd them into a covey with the ranger without spilling your beer.

                    Nice work. Congrats.
                    At 500grs...I would say a .458 socom or maybe a 45-70?

Haaaa. I took out 6 or 7 in one shot years ago with a 10 gauge and No. 4 buck. Need to dust that off and give it a whirl.

Still looking for a 1-6 Z6iee (extended eye relief). Although it is fun going old school with irons! Just really limits early morning and late afternoon shooting.

Here is the tool. . .
