What is this? Catfish fillet.

I've never seen anything like that before. Pretty interesting to say the least. I would eat it or any other fish from a still water source. Hopefully someone on here knows exactly what it is.

It is common in catfish. It is a larve that comes from consuming snails.

We've seen them on some of our farm ponds. They're harmless . Here's a good read on them:
