This is meant to be a question, maybe a dumb one, but nonetheless. What sort of impact will the virus have on the economics and ability of those to hunt. With possible income challenges, along with the fear of how long and what that will end up looking like. Hunting for many is a luxury that is paid for with “hobby funds” for the most part. The vast majority don’t need to hunt to eat, and if they did I don’t know that paying a premium lease cost would be how that is accomplished. What will that look like? Will people decide to get off of their place due to lack of disposable income? I’m not talking impact of literal hunting but rather the logistics of what it all looks like....

To be honest I hunt for fun, I don’t need the meat. The meats a bonus though... I’m on a lease that ain’t expensive, we don’t feed protein or feed year round. I can imagine being a very expensive lease then yeah it would be tough paying it.Last edited by STX_Shooter; 03-16-2020, 09:28 PM.

There are five on my lease, three of us have jobs that are 100% safe and we will be fine. The other two are in the oil industry that is already being hit. They’re both smart dudes and i have no doubt that they’re prepared for this, but as a group we will do whatever it takes to keep our group together. I think there will be some good places coming open soon though!
